Academics
Programs you’re looking for

UT will prepare you for your future. Whatever it is that you want to study, you’ll find it here. Undergraduate students have over 360 programs to choose from and can even build their own program. You’ll be taught by professors at the top of their field who emphasize hands-on research and service-learning.

UT is able to provide a small community with our majors while still giving us the amazing resources of a university. I love being able to know my professors and advisors personally. Being a Volunteer, I have a connection to so many people in the world, and I know it will help me in my future.

Visit
Tour campus

Knoxville will quickly become your home, sweet home. See the Great Smoky Mountains on the horizon and the Tennessee River just outside campus as you make your way to tour UT. On your visit, you’ll stroll past statues of our beloved mascot, see the iconic Ayres Hall, and hear famous campus legends (like how Vols shouldn’t step on the seal!).

You’ll find everything you need on our 920-acre campus. Vols have over 30 places to eat, several gym and rec facilities, and access to an on-campus Student Health Center.

Receiving my scholarship was an immense honor and a dream come true. It alleviates the financial burden of tuition but also symbolizes recognition of my hard work and dedication. This empowers me to focus wholeheartedly on my studies and make the most of the opportunities available to me.
